Living in a cabin with others of a similar age, and lead by a caring and fun Cabin Leader, campers are introduced to an acclaimed overnight camp experience in a supportive and encouraging community. A 4:1 staff-to-camper ratio ensures each camper receives individual care and attention to support their success.
Cabin-based programming is the approach that these Periods are based upon. Campers enjoy many of Wenonah’s most popular program areas, including canoeing, kayaking, tennis, climbing & initiatives, archery, arts & crafts, outdoor living, and so much more.
Other popular programs and traditions highlight the Camp experience. For our Period 4B campers, that includes our 3-day Wenonah Games (an Olympic-style event).
Our Mission Statement gets to the heart of our hope for each Wenonah camper:
"Surrounded by nature and guided by accomplished leaders, Wenonah campers have fun and learn lifelong skills in a safe and respectful community.
In the words of a camper, “Camp Wenonah makes us better people.”
