Tanamakoon’s Leadership-in-Training program is designed for Grade 10 campers who are ready to take on new responsibilities, strengthen their leadership skills, and become positive role models within the camp community. Through a combination of camp involvement, skill development, mentorship, and hands-on leadership opportunities, LITs learn what it means to support younger campers, contribute to cabin and activity life, and grow as confident, capable young leaders.
The program gives girls the opportunity to deepen their connection to Tanamakoon while developing communication, teamwork, initiative, and responsibility. It is an ideal next step for campers who love camp and are ready to experience it from a leadership perspective.
