This camp is designed to build the following character traits:
Physicality: An excellent way for campers to improve their swimming and lifesaving skills.
Responsibility: With the achievement of swimming and lifesaving certifications, campers are ready to apply these skills through employment.
This option is for campers entering grades 9-11 in September 2022 who wish to progress into an aquatic leadership role. Campers who are 16 will focus on achieving the Lifesaving Society’s National Lifeguard (NL) and/or Swim & Lifesaving Instructor certifications. These courses prepare individuals to lifeguard and to teach and evaluate swimming strokes and lifesaving skills. Campers who are not yet 16 will learn valuable water rescue skills and work towards the Assistant Instructor certification.
If added to a two or three week session, a discount applies.
