Types of Kids’ Camps in Ohio

You’ll find a great variety of programming available at camps, with appeals to many different interests.  Kids' sports camps specialize in everything from soccer to cycling. Young arts enthusiasts will find camps with drama sessions and other arts programming. Education camps include sessions on everything from robotics to STEM curriculum. Ohio is also home to adventure-oriented camps which are typically overnight sleepaway camps.

Kids from Canada or elsewhere in the US attending an overnight camp in Ohio will find this a special experience. There’ll be campfires, swimming and late-night conversations that spark deep friendships that extend well beyond time at camp. Kids and teens build soft skills in leadership and independence. You’ll also meet other kids from throughout the state, and from other parts of Canada and the United States.

Another big advantage of camp is that kids and teens who rely too heavily on screens and are used to city landscapes get to experience the great outdoors. Campers get active outdoors and deepen their appreciation of the great outdoors.
