This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Physicality: Focussing on recreational fun, and building/learning new outdoor skills.
  • Creativity: From learning about ecology, to new skills like crafting, and physical activities like skiing, there's something to learn and try for the first time - for everyone!

Looking for a family getaway? YMCA Wanakita Family Camp is the place to be. Running 9 weeks of the summer and several family programs throughout the year (Winter and Spring), YMCA Wanakita attracts families from around the world, and has become a family destination that folks return to year after year. Relax at the beach, enjoy our hiking or ski trails, or participate in one of YMCA Wanakita’s many activities. Your experience includes a cabin for your family, programming and delicious meals cooked for you. We can't wait for you to experience the magic and community of Family Camp!
