Workshop - Foundations for Gr. 09-10 English

A refresher of English fundamentals covered in the Grades 8 and 9 curricula to prepare students entering Grades 9 and 10 in September 2024.

Join other soon-to-be grade 9 and 10 students for a workshop on skill development in the English classroom. Throughout this week, we will engage in a variety of activities such as reading, discussions, examining the parts of a story, and writing our own stories! Students will also walk away from the workshop having selected a book to read over the rest of the summer. There will be an emphasis on reading, writing, and speaking.

Important Schedule Notice:
There will not be a workshop session on Monday, July 1st due to the Canada Day holiday.
