Lots of camp options in La Belle Province
Quebec offers many diverse and quality summer camps. There are many traditional recreational camps with a long-standing history. Many camps in the Province of Quebec were founded by individuals or families; some have religious affiliations; others cater to children with special needs.
Some Quebec camps offer bilingual programs. Others offer programs exclusively in French or English only. A number of French camps in Quebec also offer programs featuring English as a Second Language. |
The Quebec landscape enables some camps to offer white water rafting, kayaking or whale watching along the St. Lawrence Seaway. There are also numerous day camps in Quebec, particularly in Montreal, with a wide range of programs from the arts to athletics.
A survey on Canadian camps conducted a few years ago, found that Province of Quebec camps tended to have lower daily rates compared with some other parts of the country. Quebec offers many different kinds of camps, of course, everything from adventure camps to science camps.
