This year Toronto School of Art increased Youth Summer programming by offering one-week art camps over the entire Summer for 10-13 year olds, and a two-week Youth Studio Intensive for 14-17 year olds. We have introduced a Youth Studio Intern position to assist the faculty, students, and parents. We are pleased to have Julianna on board!
Julianna is a graduate from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education with a Bachelor of Education focusing on teaching Visual Arts and History. Prior to obtaining her B.Ed., she attended York University for Visual Arts. She has experience teaching art to students of various ages both in traditional and non-traditional classroom settings. In addition, she has volunteered and completed internships in museums and galleries in the GTA. While she enjoys exploring different art mediums, Julianna’s art works are primarily created using drawings and oil paints in a realistic approach. As she continues to build her career as an art educator, she also continues to develop her portfolio.

SUMMER ART CAMPS AND YOUTH STUDIO INTENSIVE
TSA's youth programming guides young artists through age-appropriate explorations of various mediums and processes. Field trips to art galleries introduce students to historical and contemporary artists, and hands-on studio time aims to develop their technical skills and personal style.
SUMMER YOUTH STUDIO INTENSIVE is a two-week program, July 7 to 11 and July 14 to 18, and still has space for new students!
