Ice Cream Castles in the Sky: Mixed Media, Ages 8 - 12; Sun, 1:30 - 4 pm

Using fantasy, myth and legends from around the world as inspiration, students will explore their own creative capacity by making art works in a variety of media. Every week will feature an artwork or an audio performance that interprets a myth or legend, and students will create art based on relevant themes. Each lesson will begin with a warm up skill building exercise in a variety of media from the spectrum of drawing, painting and sculpture.
