In this camp, the instructor will guide students in designing jewelry projects based on expressive intentions and personal meaning. Students will learn the foundations of jewelry fabrication and joining methods, including soldering and cold connection such as rivets, as well as sawing, piercing, filing and finishing. They will explore resin, coloration of surface, and stamping. Students will make one sterling silver spinner ring, as well as pendants, a pair of earrings, and a forged bracelet using copper and brass provided.
All precious metals and jewelry-making supplies provided.
