Designed to expand the skills of our future counsellors and facilitators, this session is a truly unique stepping stone for co-ed students ages 8 to 10 years who want to develop their problem solving, group collaboration and outdoor skills.
Students will learn about nature and animals; the importance of the changing seasons, predator & prey relationships, animal mentors, traditional ecological knowledge and basic animal husbandry. Over the course of the five days, students will learn to respect others and the resident animals, while improving their listening and communicating skills.
You can be assured your child is in the safety of qualified counsellors and facilitators who are passionate about providing fun, engaging and memorable experiences. The Kids Nature Camp is the perfect environment to meet new and lasting friendships. Ultimately, we hope your child returns to participate in future Earth Studies adventures!
