These schools offer no formal program for gifted students, but have an accelerated baseline curriculum. This means all students—gifted or not—do the work of older peers at other schools. For highly gifted learners (those in the 99th percentile), this alone is likely not enough to support their needs.

The cost of attending a gifted school in Oakville is generally in line with private school tuition in general. Private schools can range from $5,000 to over $30,000 per year for day students.
There are quite a few affordable gifted schools in the area. An Oakville gifted program doesn’t always require a high tuition: some less expensive schools provide an excellent education by focusing on classroom basics and strong teacher support. The more costly gifted schools, however, often provide a wider breadth of in-class and extracurricular opportunities. They also tend to be larger and more established. For most schools, the largest expense remains teacher salaries.
Many schools, including those with a gifted program in Oakville, also offer financial aid (sometimes called "bursaries," "tuition relief," or "tuition assistance") as well as scholarships.
