- Baby City Wins the Gold Eagle of Education 2026 Nationwide Award (January 16, 2026)
Baby City is a boutique bilingual nursery and preschool in Mokotów, established in 2008 and awarded multiple Eagles of Education titles.
We offer STEAM education, holistic child development, a safe environment and an individual approach. Children learn daily in English and Polish with an experienced teaching team. This is an excellent choice for parents looking for high-quality bilingual childcare, nursery and preschool education.
A nursery and kindergarten operating in two locations in Warsaw's Mokotów district. Its bilingual education is based on the IB program for the youngest (PYP) and STEAM. In each group there are three adults at all times: educator, English-speaking educator and assistant, and education is conducted by a bilingual team - a Polish teacher and an English teacher. All teachers have the highest qualifications. Baby City's central values are independence, democratic education (Nonviolent Communication, not relying on the system of punishments and rewards), healthy nutrition (own organic kitchen), daily physical activity and individualized programs to develop talents. The centers operate all year round, also during the holidays, when a special summer program is offered.

Central to your child's school experience is the underlying curriculum taught in the classroom. "Curriculum" refers to both what is taught and how it's taught. When considering the different curricula outlined in the next few pages, keep in mind that few schools fall neatly into one category or another. Most schools' curricula comprise a blend of best practices drawn from multiple curriculum types. Having said that, most schools do have a general overall curriculum type. These are identified for each school on OurKids.net.
Primary Curriculum: ProgressiveProgressive (sometimes called "inquiry based" or "discovery based") curricula use students' interests and their natural curiosity as the driver for instruction. Teachers provide materials, experiences, tools and resources necessary for students to investigate a topic or issue. Students are then encouraged to explore, reflect on their findings, and discuss answers, solutions, and insights.

We place strong emphasis on children’s physical development, so that sport becomes a natural habit rather than an obligation. Children can choose from activities such as dance, karate, football, ballet, acrobatics, tennis, swimming and ice skating.
We also focus on artistic development. By the end of their preschool education, children prepare and perform a musical on a professional theatre stage.

Dear Parents,
If you are looking for a place where your child truly comes first, we warmly invite you to Baby City. It is a space created by passionate early-education professionals who are deeply committed to supporting children’s harmonious development, while respecting their developmental needs and building key competencies essential for later stages of education.
We are here to inspire, support, delight and help make the world a better place. Baby City is a place remembered with warmth – a place that equips young children with strong foundations on which they can later build their own world.
We stay up to date with the latest educational trends, drawing inspiration from the best elements of the Reggio Emilia approach, Jesper Juul, Maria Montessori, as well as international programs such as the IB PYP and other child-centred frameworks. Our goal is for every graduate to be confident, independent, tolerant, willing to take risks and able to approach challenges creatively.
We offer bilingual education in Polish and English, with Spanish introduced as an additional language. Language development is as important to us as physical development, healthy nutrition and education that supports growth across multiple areas.
Our team of over 40 professionals includes teachers, creativity educators, support teachers, speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, musicians, sports coaches, dancers, actors and art therapists – all united by their passion and commitment to delivering the highest quality education.
