Are you still on the hunt for the right camp for your child? There’s still time! Whether you’re searching for a one or two week summer camp right now or interested in exploring more options for camps throughout the year, the Advanced Camp Search feature can help you narrow your choices from leading camps across Canada, the United States, and abroad.
Basic Camp Search
You might be in British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec or Nova Scotia, but the Camp Search feature is designed to help you find and choose the right camp for your kids in your area. Listings by general area will show you what type of camp it is, where they’re located (sometimes in multiple provinces or states), what they specialize in and other details like whether the camp is coed or single-sex, the average rate you can expect to pay, and the age range of campers. From this basic listing, you can also view individual camp profiles, check out their pictures and upcoming events, or get in touch with the camp directly.
The basic search also allows you to search day camps, overnight camps, girls camps and boys camps all based on your camper’s age.
Advanced Camp Search
Maybe you want to know which camps offer financial aid or if there are sibling discounts? Perhaps you’re looking for a special needs camp and specific support for behavioural or physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or services for a troubled teen? Wonder what types of team building or leadership programs a camp has or if they offer transportation, day trips, and hot meals?
Using the Advanced Camp Search, you can choose as many of these different options as you like to make your search as individualized as your child.
Find a camp that meets your child’s needs in broad areas such as:
- Religious affiliation
- Camp programs
- Focused programs
- Education
- Sports & activities
- Arts/dance/music
- Adventure & leadership
- Camp facilities
- Additional services (day trips, transportation, etc.)
There are also options to search for camps based on language support for ESL, FSL, and language studies.
With so many camps to choose from, the Advanced Camp Search can help you select, view, and compare several different camps at once, and make the process of finding the right camp for your child a little easier. The only question you might have once you have all the information you need is which camp to send them to first!
