Mulgrave School Catches the Olympic Spirit

Students of Mulgrave School

Mulgrave students have the Olympic spirit

Mulgrave School in West Vancouver will be full of Olympic Athletes come February 12, 2009.  The Canadian Snowboard and Freestyle Ski Teams will make their home in the school’s buildings and campus for the duration of the Games.

Not only athletes but also their families and supporters will get a warm welcome from the Mulgrave community:

In collaboration with Canada Snowboard, the school has launched the Canada Snowboard/Mulgrave School Homestay Programme which will involve Mulgrave families hosting the families and supporters of Olympic Snowboard athletes and coaches during the Games.

Last spring, during the World Cup, #1 ranked Olympic Freestyle Snowboarder, Sarah Conrad’s parents, from Dartmouth, NS, stayed with Mulgrave family, the Sheldon’s. The families still keep in touch and the Sheldon’s have offered to open their home to Ginny and Gary Conrad once again during the 2010 Olympics.

Our Kids Media wishes a great Games for all Canadian Athletes and congratulates Mulgrave School for their Olympic Spirit!
