Trinity College School Information Session in Bowmanville on Wednesday, January 30: Never considered an independent school? You might be surprised…
Located on a beautiful campus in Port Hope, Trinity College School (TCS) is a co-educational day and boarding school for students in Grades 5-12. One of Canada’s oldest and most respected educational institutions, the School places a balanced emphasis on academics, service learning, athletics and the arts.
Over 100 students from Durham Region choose to take the TCS bus every day to Port Hope for many reasons: small classroom size, excellent facilities, supportive teachers, a broad range of co-curricular opportunities and the safety of a close-knit community.
Ask a TCS family and they will tell you about our success in preparing students for the next stage of their educational journey. Whether it be Grade 5 and 6 students preparing for their foundational middle school years or Grade 9 and 10 students looking ahead to university, TCS students are ready and eager for their next challenges.
Coming from the Junior School, I was prepared academically for Grade 9 because all the teachers anticipate what you need to learn and prepare you the best they can. We developed our leadership skills by participating in service learning from Grade 5 and then having leadership roles in Grade 8. — Julian, Grade 10 student.
There are several bursary and scholarship opportunities available; in fact, more than 25% of our students share over $2 million in financial assistance each year with day student awards ranging from $5,000 to $12,000.
