Founded in 2004, this school has around 160 students, and is located in the Białołęka district of Warsaw. It focuses on the development of children’s self-esteem and respect for themselves and others. It has a unique educational program consistent with the Polish National Curriculum, one which uses modern teaching methods tailored to meet the needs and abilities of each child. It places great emphasis on math, logical reasoning, and theoretical and practical knowledge. Students learn the Polish language, both orally and in writing, and develop robust competence in the language. In the teaching of English (and Spanish, which is the second foreign language taught), the school uses a variety of methods, the most important being CLIL, multimedia games, and project work. Moreover, teaching is adjusted to meet the abilities of each child. The effects of such an approach to teaching are visible: in 2017, its students who took the Cambridge exams (Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET, and FCE) obtained results not lower than 80%. The school’s students also have numerous achievements in math and Polish language competitions and quizzes.
