Non-public Primary School - University of Young Man - is a school without bells in Bielany, with no clearly marked breaks, in which students work together and carry out further educational projects. They do not compete, they do not compare, they do not race, they only unite forces to achieve their goals. The appropriately arranged classes serve this purpose, in which students work together at the tables, and the teacher with them. Its role is not traditional transfer of ex-cathedral knowledge, averaging knowledge and requirements, but supporting students in their independent investigation of the truth, extracting their talents and potential. The school documents emphasize that it is based on the coexistence and creative cooperation of pupils, teachers and parents. Each student is treated individually, can develop at his own pace, because the school does not set the same requirements for everyone, and does not set traditional grades. It is a child-friendly and open place for students with special educational needs, for whom it runs integration classes. Works according to the words of Janusz Korczak "... give the child all the air, the sun, all the kindness that belongs to him, regardless of merit or faults, virtues or vices". Offers care from 7.30 to 17.00, maximum 15-class class and class schedule, which provides not only learning about the Polish language required for the material and language education, but also developing knowledge and interests, as well as classes in psychological and pedagogical assistance. One of the main goals of UMC is to equip students with knowledge of two foreign languages - mainly English, which is taught intensively from class I, part of the lesson is taught in a bilingual system, and a Spanish language that students learn from the fourth grade. The school also develops other social skills of pupils, teaches how to recognize their feelings and needs and articulate them, which is expressed, among others, their influence on what is happening at school, and also builds their self-confidence and self-esteem. UMC also cares for the daily physical development of children, and sports activities are conducted so that all students participate in them and have a good time.
