- MATH WORLD - międzynarodowy projekt z udziałem naszych uczniów (November 15, 2020)
We have been teaching the values of respect, cooperation, charity and social activism in our school for over 25 years. Our focus is to create a school community free of fear, stress and hate. We are committed to provide effective lessons instead of excessive homework load. Our teachers offer each student individual, focused attention to assure that his or her learning potential is reached. Our students discover and develop their talents and pursue a variety of scientific, artistic and sporting interests.
Lauder-Morasha is currently the largest school offering Jewish education in Poland. The origins of the school date back to 1989, when a group of parents supported by Ronald S. Lauder decided to create the first Jewish kindergarten in Warsaw since 1968. They then founded a primary school in 1994 and a middle school in 1999. Right now the Lauder-Morasha school offers children between the ages of 2.5 and grade 12. This education includes a focus on Judaism, Jewish culture, tolerance and respect for other religions, nationalities, and cultures, and responsibility for oneself and others. The Lauder-Morasha school implements the Polish core curriculum, and offers an extensive foreign language learning program, in English and Hebrew. The school is open to children of different faiths and nationalities. The Jewish community gathered around the school - children, parents and entire families - enjoy celebrations of holidays and numerous events.

Central to your child's school experience is the underlying curriculum taught in the classroom. "Curriculum" refers to both what is taught and how it's taught. When considering the different curricula outlined in the next few pages, keep in mind that few schools fall neatly into one category or another. Most schools' curricula comprise a blend of best practices drawn from multiple curriculum types. Having said that, most schools do have a general overall curriculum type. These are identified for each school on OurKids.net.
Primary Curriculum: Liberal ArtsSuch an approach to curriculum shares with traditional programs their emphasis on core knowledge-acquisition, but tends to borrow more best practices from the progressive approach. The goal isn't to prepare students for vocational life, but rather to encourage an appreciation of the benefits of education itself, including academic and personal development. There is an emphasis on knowledge acquisition as well as theoretical and academic learning, but the real focus is on cultivating the intellect.

(Example: allowing a student to write tests in a quieter room). | Modifications The underlying content and expectations are modified and/or simplified for the sake of the student. (Examples: allowing student to use a calculator on a test when other students can’t; allowing students to bring word-banks or “cheat sheets” into certain tests, etc) | Remediation Research-based therapeutic measures that target and ameliorate the underlying weakness. |
